The mission of Spring Vale Academy is to disciple young people to Christ the Master Teacher, preparing them to be Christian leaders and workers; to prepare young people socially, academically, and psychologically for further education and for the responsibilities and relationships for adult life.
SVA promotes leadership by financially rewarding those who demonstrate character and responsibility toward fellow students. Scholarships will be awarded to the top two applicants in the amount of 25% of tuition, room, and board (for boarding students) or 25% of tutiton (for day students).
Requirements:
• The student apply for a leadership scholarship must demonstrate the following level of achievement:
• Not appear on the discipline list six or more times in a semester for any reason. • Be a member of one of the following leadership teams: o Student Council o Ministry and Planning Committee o Friday Night Praise Team o Dorm Council (if applicable)
Application Steps:
To be considered for a leadership scholarship, applicants must:
• Complete and send the scholarship application. • Send the following materials: o A list of any prior awards or acknowledgements received. o Instructor’s or Praise Leader’s letter of recommendation. • All materials MUST be postmarked by July 20 for the school yer, or December 20 for spring semester. |
