The mission of Spring Vale Academy is to disciple young people to Christ the Master Teacher, preparing them to be Christian leaders and workers; to prepare young people socially, academically, and psychologically for further education and for the responsibilities and relationships for adult life.
SVA promotes the Christian attributes of discipline, leadership, and academic excellence with athletic scholarships for past and present athletic performance. Scholarships will be awarded to the top two athletes in the amount of 25% of tuition, room and board (for boarding students) or 25% of tuition (for day students).
Requirements:
The student applying for an athletic scholarship must demonstrate the following level of achievement:
• 2.0 G.P.A. from the previous academic year.
• Maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. for each semester of the year.
• Be a part of each available team.
• Dress for 75% of the games for the season except for injury.
• If these standards are not achieved for each season, the scholarship will be forfeited for that season.
Application Steps:
To be considered for an academic scholarship, applicants must:
• Complete and send the scholarship application.
• Send the following materials:
o A list of awards or acknowledgements received.
o Coach’s letter of recommendation.
• All materials MUST be postmarked by July 20 for the school year, or December 20 for spring semester. |
