John Camero, Headmaster, Bible Teacher


Cut Mr. Camero, and he bleeds Spring Vale blue and white.  He attended Spring Vale as a student, working as a student to help pay his way.  If you drive through campus you are very likely to be stopped by Mr. Camero as he monitors our campus like an eagle. That is because SVCS is like a child to him.  He longs to serve the Lord with his life.

Joe, a Corunna native, has a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in history from Central Michigan University. Joe returned to Michigan from living off the grid in Alaska with his wife and six children for his dream job here at SVCS. 

 

He previously co-founded the largest public charter school in the state of Oregon and has been a church planter and pastor.  Joe is passionate about Christian school revitalization.

Joanna graduated from UNC-Greensboro with a BS in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. She also holds a degree in Early Childhood Education.

 

Joanna has worked in many different aspects of the education field for 20+ years. Her greatest blessings are her four children. Joanna is passionate about quality, Christian education and enthusiastic about creating a school environment where students thrive in their learning.

Ruth Davis, Office Administrator

Mrs. Davis is the office administrator.  An alumnus of Spring Vale, she is passionate about giving back to the school that she loves. She loves the word of God and is blessed to be surrounded by people who are committed to Christ.

 

Mrs. Davis enjoys reading, weekend getaways, and coffee.  She treasures time with her husband and adult son and daughter, who is a senior this year.

 

Education: AS in science at McHenry County College

Andra Sandy, Business Manager

Andra was born and raised in northeast Iowa, the youngest of 6 children. She is a blessed wife and mother of 7 wonderful children; homeschooled before attending Spring Vale. 

 

She is passionate about raising her children to develop a deep relationship with the Lord and providing them with a biblical education that sets a firm foundation for success in their adult lives. 

Andra owns and manages a property management company based in the metro-Detroit area, operating since 2008. She has been active in the church, serving in various roles: Sabbath school teacher, praise & worship leader, events coordinator, women's ministry leader, kitchen manager, and more. She is dedicated to serving the Lord and her family.

 Andra LOVES to travel.

Students attending Spring Vale receive high-quality, Christian values-based instruction. Our graduates are well prepared for acceptance to the nation’s top higher education institutions, but with a very significant difference. Through positive role models and in words and deeds, the Spring Vale experience prepares students to stay true to their values and embrace Christ throughout life.

Spring Vale was founded in 1946 by members of the Church of God (Seventh Day). Since then, Spring Vale has graduated more than 750 students, most of whom have gone on to college.

 

Many have distinguished themselves in graduate work, achieving advanced degrees, and serving in leadership positions within the Church and public service and the private sector.
