SVCS exists to provide the education you wish you could have gotten.  

We are passionate about many things! Most of all, we are passionate about teaching students how to think and communicate. We believe in an education steeped in the Great Books, carrying on the "Great Conversation" with the best minds of Western Civilization. 

We believe the best student is well-rounded, able to read the book of Nature as skillfully as a great book. To that end, we plant gardens, make things out of wood, and harvest honey from our very own homegrown bees. 

This is school the way it should be.
